Whole Brain Learning for High Performance
The world is made up
of different kinds of people who have
fundamentally different approaches to
communicating, problem solving, working with
others and decision-making. These
differences allow each individual to make a
unique contribution to the success of the
teams or organizations to which he or she
belongs.
Unfortunately, these
differences, when misunderstood or
unappreciated, can be a major source of
stress and conflict. They can also limit
the development and progression of teams and
organizations. Through increased individual
awareness about these natural differences,
and a better understanding about each
individual’s thinking-style preferences, you
have a greater potential to create higher
performing work teams. For it is the ability
and willingness of all individuals to make
their contributions that ultimately moves a
team towards high effectiveness, or dooms it
to failure.
Every participant
will gain great insight into his or her own
thinking-style preferences and behaviours,
and how to use that to achieve positive
career and life outcomes. Participants will
also gain a better understanding and
appreciation of the preferences and
behaviours of others to build greater unity
and focus within their organizations. This
workshop incorporates the Herrmann Whole
Brain Learning Model, which is based on the
right brain/left brain theory that
individuals have specific preferences or
dominances in regards to their behaviour.
Specifically, participants will benefit by:
·
Gaining new insights into the
dynamics of rewarding, working
relationships
·
Developing improved
communications skills, that result in
greater understanding, and increased ability
to achieve goals
·
Dealing more effectively with
interpersonal conflict, for more positive
results
·
Identifying how to enhance
customer service (both internally and
externally), for improved customer
relations
·
Learning to solve problems
more creatively, ensuring improved outcomes
·
Recognizing how to reduce
stress caused by change, for greater peace
of mind
·
Identifying the components of
successful teams, resulting in more
cohesive, focused teams
